Spa Park
 Already
the spa park's situation is remarkable. It can be reached
quickly from the town afoot, but is separated from it by the
Saale river's meadows. There are still some signs that remind
us that the spa park originally used to be the former palace
park, and that it evolved from a strictly organized French
park over a romantic English landscape park into today's park.
For example, you can see there several playful Rococo angels.
The many rare and precious trees also hint at
a careful planning. Unfortunately, the number of these trees
has been somewhat reduced in the last years due to storms.
The park has been adapted to today's requirements and enriched
with some new attractions, however without threatening the
harmonious overall impression. 
For example, nowadays a mini-golf and tennis
court as well as a swan pond and pavilion complete the park.
